Mind boggling some of the comments criticising the riding. EPIC riding, incredible bike. As others have said standard map really bad throttle v v hard to get smooth. This guy is seriously fast v much doubt any of the ppl commenting would see which way he'd gone after a few corners

Hey I love your video, watched it like 10 times just to learn the throttle blipping movement. Question though, why do you shift up before you reach the red line of your shifts? Is it not better to reach the highest RPMs for every shift, for the most speed?

At last, a real decent video of how a Yamaha R1m should be ridden, and not just flat out down the freeway. Maximum respect from the uk.

OMG! is amazing this bike, the sound is glorious! I can´t imagine how sounds with Arrow or Akrapovic exhaust

now after I own one and rode it on the track,  what seems like his inability to control the throttle well isn't his fault.   the stock tune is awful and is way too jerky.  mode A power 1 and mode B power 1 are both super jerky and has me almost on my ass a few times. 
it needs a good map installed. everyone I talk to that has one agrees that it's awful in stock form. the graves yamaha map and the sportbike unlimited flash/map smooths it out perfectly and boosts the power about 15 hp with stock exhausts. with an exhaust guys are posting dyno sheets right at 200hp

nice video - wow some people really get worked up writing comments ! obviously none of them had ridden a new R1 !! standard Throttle mapping is absolutely awful, very bad on/off jerky, first thing I did to mine was get it on a dyno and have it Flashed & mapped. Fantastic bike once setup though. Nice track too.

I love when old men think they know better cuz they are salty and old. Like 70 year old ppl that refuse to give up there driver license even after killing 3 people cuz there blood sugar dropped and they pass out at the wheel. Even the Great Valentino Rossi had to go back to MotoGP school because he was getting spanked by Mark Marquez. Just be real with your self and remember these three things and you will go far Red 1. Your not a fine wine I.e your not getting better with age.

3. Never lose your hunger your fight your drive. Always test your self push harder then the day befor never give up never surrender. " your looked like you where driving miss daisy on this track with a 200hp beast at your disposal. I would not let you ride my Bicycle much less my hp4 I would fall into Odin sleep watching you ride 😴
