Absolutely incredible. I left the city almost 25 years ago and honestly, I will never be able to go back again. Husband has to hide the supplies just to get me to go to town for more supplies. LOL!! Love being out in the wilderness and will never go back to the city again.

2 years without internet ???

While I don’t intend on going the Shawn James route, there is nothing I would enjoy more than having my own getaway. I’ve been looking at land not too far away and figuring out the logistics. Even to get away to a small cabin every month and half or so would be so refreshing and rewarding. Doesn’t hurt that I already have 90% of the tools and skills needed to do so. Won’t be a log cabin, but will still be built with my own hands.
