Join me for a full length ride up to Monte Jafferau at an elevation of 2.805 m above sea level. We stopped a few times to rest and to take photos. Also, we took the dead end road up to Fort Pramand (there will be another video from this track) and came back to the main track again.
The track rates 4 out 5 for its difficulty level on the Denzel scale.

    Schönes Video! Schon echt beeindruckend, was die Motorräder so wegstecken, vor allem im oberen Teil die "asphaltierte Piste".
    Aber: Fahrt ihr da eigentlich ein Rennen hoch? Entspannt sieht das irgendwie nicht aus. In jeder Kehre der Blick nach hinten, möglichst viel Gas. Klar, dass das anstrengend ist, aber irgendwie bin ich dann doch eher der gemütliche Typ, vor allem ist es ja so: Wenn man sich da hinpackt, dann landet man bei dem Tempo meistens auch ein bisschen weiter entfernt von seinem Bike, was im Zweifel bedeuten kann, dass man mal eben ein paar hundert Meter runterfällt. (Jaja, Kopfkino, sollte man als Biker ausblenden, ok ok ;-)
    Mir war es nur in einigen deiner Offroad-Videos aufgefallen. :D Viele Grüße, ich bleibe natürlich weiterhin ein Fan :D

      Vielen Dank Christoph - Ein Rennen war das sicher nicht aber es macht Spaß da etwas zügiger hochzufahren. Wir hatten aber genügend Stops um auch die Landschaft in Ruhe genießen zu können so ist nicht ;-)

    Wow, wieder mal ein gelungenes Video. Auch wenn man einen Teil schon kannte, schaut man dich das Alles gerne nochmal an. Das Klima im Video ist ja leider völlig konträr zum Hiesigen. Ich habe nun am vergangenen Mittwoch meine Super Adventure S in schwarz-silber mit schwarzen Sturzbügeln beim Händler abgeholt und sie dann 130 km bei teilweise nur 2 Grad plus nach Hause geführt. Vorbei an den immer noch vorhandenen Schneebergen hier im Oberallgäu. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gefroren wie an diesem Abend! Aber die Vorfreude auf die neue Kant'n hat einfach überwogen. Da es am Wochenende wieder geschneit hat war bisher noch kein weiterer Ausflug drin. Ich hoffe sehr auf den kommenden Frühling. Übrigens war ich am nächsten Tag nochmal beim Händler (mit dem Auto) und da stand doch tatsächlich schon die erste neue 2021 SAS in diesem Gunmetal-Dunkelgrau. Hat live also doch recht heftig ausgesehen. Sie stand auf dem Hauptständer noch ohne montiertes Windschild (war frisch aus der Box) und hat von hinten echt fies ausgesehen. Hat was. Auch wenn die Pseudo-Boxer-Tank-Tutteln unten seitlich gewöhnungsbedürftig sind.

      @Der Maschinist ist ja bald wieder so weit - ich hatte meine ja am 2.1. angemeldet - bis Februar hatte ich dann die 1000 km aber das war auch ein recht warmer Winter ;-)

      @MotoVibes Ja, vor allem habe ich überhaupt nicht damit gerechnet, dass die Neue tatsächlich schon beim Händler steht. Aber was soll's - ich will endlich ein paar Kilometer mit meinem schönen Neuerwerb fahren und dann die 1000 km-Erstinspektion hinter mich bringen. Ich freu mich schon so dermaßen!!! Aber wenn ich aus dem Fenster schaue ist halt alles noch Weiß und das Thermometer dümpelt tagsüber höchstens bei 5 Grad rum und nachts bei bis zu minus 9! Geduldig sein ist angesagt.

      Sehr cool - ich hätte die auch bei den Temperaturen abgeholt aber 130 km ist schon heftig aber besser als warten ;-) Es ist ja jetzt doch wieder recht kalt geworden - wird Zeit, dass es jetzt warm bleibt und wir wieder fahren können. Bin ja neidisch, dass Du die neue schon live gesehen hast ;-)

      Eine BMW 1250 GS (Felix) und meine KTM 1290 Super Adventure. Allerdings lag der Kühlerdefekt bei der 1190 von Thomas an einem Sturzschaden von unserer Frankreich Tour 2019 und seine Batterie war einfach zu alt. Die GS von Chris hatte eine Schaden am Zylinderkopf weil er gegen einen Felsen gefahren ist - die Maschine selbst war top. Ähnlich bei Jochens HPN - das größte Thema war der Unfallschaden am ersten Tag. Ich fand es super auf losem Untergrund - von mir aus hätten wir überhaupt keine Asphalt gehabt ;-)

    Wow..great ride my friend, I have seen bits of this route but not the complete one, awesome..and scary. Do you not find the power of your 1290 too much for some of these routes?

      Oh - absolutely. I did most tracks including this one in off-road mode which cuts the power of the beast to 100 horses and that is more than plenty for me especially with traction control off 😉

      Well. I have the fog lights as seen in this video itload.info/losk/pmzU23yDta2vZrA/video. I had some fogging issues but overall they have been a good choice. Of course you could get the powerparts lights too.

    You have always been a very good rider but your skills are improving so much especially on these road conditions! And so is your confidence with the speed/off road! I don't recall what tires you were using!! Mitas?? If so, how many miles do you have on them? Always a pleasure watching your hard work behind the wheel and with the editing! Cheers

      @Patrick Cooper so far that is what I did and that is also why I chose the Mitas which can take the abuse of an extended Autobahn ride. There are much better off-road tires out there than E-07+ but they are a good compromise
