F1 are braking / cornering with up to 5g / 6g, current Moto GP are pulling about 1.5g / 2g. whatever happens in a straight line, there is no way on a 'normal' racetrack a bike will beat an F1. actually, if you compare current laptimes, F1 do silverstone in about 1:30, moto gp need around 2 minutes.

@PHILIP BUTOYI I can't argue with any of that, as what you say is absolutely true. I guess it all boils down to my personal preference of motorcyles having as little interference as possible from electronic aids - & thus enabling a far more basic rider-machine interface. There's no doubt that technological advancement has had a massive effect on how the boundries of possibility can - and indeed are - continually pushed: but whether we think that's for the benefit of us as riders depends upon our needs & preferences. I definitely think the future's highly technical though (!), so I hope folk have a large wedge behind them when those inevitable gremlins appear on their ultra-modern, high-tech superbike: coz they sure as Hell won't be fixing it themselves...

@Missy Dee these machines are not practical without electronics and all that power, have you seen any skilled driver try run a machine with so much power to weight with no electronics and even have fun in the car? Its all work no fun and the tyres cant even handle such torture with no electronics. People still drift bikes and cars even with the electronics.
